Jaja knows the power of style. Her work is grounded in the belief that one can break the rules and look good doing it and she does. For her, fashion is a fickle playmate, and this freedom gives her styles their force - a force that commands attention and respect. Jaja knows that the true sister of beauty is confidence, insecurity is for bullies.

Graduating from Parsons in 1999 with an A.A.S in fashion design, she went on to design for Bugle Boy and Yves Saint-Luarent.

She then modeled for all the major art schools including the School of Visual Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology, and Parsons School of Design.

It was during this period that she developed her unique and bold sense of style working with faculty to introduce different looks and fashion concepts as visual aids for the students.
